Nexium Control Tablets 20mg is used in adults for the short-term treatment of frequent heartburn and acid reflux. If you find the heartburn has continued to develop, stop taking Nexium and ask your doctor toautions.
The objective of Nexium Control Tablets is to treat the frequent episodes of acid reflux that occur with heartburn. Consult your doctor if chest pain or rapid-to- onset of heartburn is persistently abnormal heartbeat. Take Control tablets for 2 to 3 hours before eating a large food source, such as a pizza or steak. Do not take more than 1 tablet within 24 hours. Nexium Control tablets are not a treatment for frequent heartburn; however, they are for the short-term treatment of frequent heartburn. Your doctor can decide whether Nexium Control Tablets 20mg are right for you.
Dosage:20mg tablets can be taken with water.
Side Effects:Nexium Control Tablets 20mg are generally welltolerated. More serious side effects may occur when you take these tablets. If you experience any of the following side effects, stop taking Nexium Tablets: chest pain, sudden vision or hearing loss, frequent chest infections, difficulty in breathing, ulcerative colitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease, peptic ulcers, history of an enlarged prostate, menstrual changes, or evidence of an enlarged esophis.

The recommended dose is one tablet a day. - Do not take more than this recommended dose of one tablet (20 mg) a day, even if you don't feel an improvement immediately. - You may need to take Nexium 24HR for a few days before experiencing the full effect. - Nexium 24HR should be taken for at least 7 days and up to 14 days. - Tell your pharmacist or doctor if you do not feel better while taking Nexium 24HR. If symptoms persist or recur within 2 weeks of completing the course, consult your doctor. Further examination may be required.
